Magdalen College School Masterplan

Completion: 2014
Location: Oxford

Magdalen College School’s site and buildings don’t reflect its status as one of the UK’s leading academic schools. Tim Ronalds Architects was chosen to work with Magdalen College School, analysing the school’s activities, needs, site and buildings. The Masterplan sets out a sequence of developments to meet the school’s needs, at a rate that could be funded and built without disruption to the life of the school. The first phase, a new four-storey building containing a new Sixth Form Centre, teaching, administrative space and a café, was designed by Tim Ronalds Architects and completed in 2017.
